Impressed! 2017 F-150 5.5 Bed
OK, although I was very impressed with the rack, there were a few un-expected twists involved with the installation. On my truck, I wasn’t able to line up an appropriate number of holes to use the supplied hardware with, and I really didn’t want to drill holes in the top of my bed rails. So I went the clamp route. After mounting one support with one clamp, it seemed flimsy to me. Not the rack, but the actual bed rail. I could grab the support and easily twist the bed rail? I added a second clamp with very little improvement in the overall rigidity. (This issue goes away by the end of this review.) Since the new Fords are all aluminum, I was concerned about how this was going to work on the new bed.I proceeded to mount the entire rack on the truck to see if that helped. It sure did! After everything was mounted, the rack seemed to me to be as if it were one piece with the bed. I tried everything to make this rack flex or twist and it just wouldn’t. Solid as a rock! So, whether you are using the supplied hardware or the clamps, wait until the whole rack is together on the truck before passing judgment. Now, I am not thrilled with the clamps because they protrude into the bed area too much, and just do not look clean to me. I also don’t want to drill holes into the top of my bed rails either. What I believe I may do is to drill holes into the sides of the bed rails and brackets and mount the uprights that way.Overall I can say this is a very sturdy rack and seems bullet-proof. How they make and ship this for what they are charging for it is beyond my understanding. Heck, the packaging they send it in is worth almost that much (excellent packaging).

Looks good on the truck
Arrived and installed as expected. I fully expect that it will bleed rust water eventually. Looks good on the truck, pleased so far for the economic and realistic use purchase. Note that this is Not vertically adjustable, only width-wise for across the bed of the truck, for which you'll probably never adjust once you install it anyways, unless you transfer it to a different truck. Keep in mind that , as the posting indicates; at least two holes need to be drilled for each piece (8 holes). I would suggest buying some washers for the bolts before installing it, just for good measure since the heads of the Allen wrench bolts are not much wider than the pre-drilled holes.

Sturdy, simply racks.
Installing these racks requires drilling holes in your truck. Despite that, they are easy to install. Make sure when you're lining up the racks that you have room beneath to tighten the bolts. If not, slide the racks in either direction until you have the room to tighten the bolts from the underside. You will need a socket wrench with a deep socket in order to help tighten. Also you need a good set of hex keys since there do not provide the one (I believe M10 or M8) in order to tighten the top of the bolts that hold the racks down to the truck. Overall, installs quickly (30 minutes) and is sturdy once everything is tightened up.

Fits a 2003 Tacoma single cab just fine.
Good product and fairly easy to install at home. You will need extra tools: 5/16 Allen, 17mm socket, and a drill set (namely a 5/16 drill)The finish on the brackets were marred up a bit but the poles looked fine.

Great rack for the price, but came scratched.
The rack arrived very well wrapped. Each individual piece was in bubble wrap and seemed like it would be well-protected... unfortunately, at least four of the racks main components had significant scratches down to bare metal before they were wrapped. I had to touch up the pain significantly before the installation. Bummer.I installed the rack on a 2005 Ford F250 with the plastic bedliner that runs on the bed rails. I opted to go the clamp method, rather than the drill-thru method and purchased a pack of 4 AA-Rack P-AC Aluminum C-clamps for the installation. Once installed, I found that one set was not enough and that each connection required a second clamp. So I spent another $20 on these... (8 C-clamps total). After my first long drive with the rack (80 miles), I noticed one of the clamps had come loose, likely from vibration or settling of the plastic bedliner. I would suggest getting some nylon lock-nuts if you go this route. All in all, I am happy with the purchase, since the price was so low (around $100 + $40 for clamps). Hopefully the rack won't rust quickly where I had to touch up the paint...

Great Quality and Price and easy installation, can't go wrong
This is a great set of racks. I ordered them for a Chevy Colorado pickup truck that I recently purchased. They shipment arrived very quickly and the packaging was excellent. I can't stress enough how easily the installation went. I literally had the racks together and sitting on the truck bed in half an hour. A little more time to go get my drill to secure them and I was all done. They look great and are plenty strong enough for anything I will be carry in on this truck. The price was also great also. I don't think I could have bought all of the materials to build a set myself for much less, and that is not counting all the time and effort it would take to make them look this nice.

Great for the Price!
Obviously these run a lot cheaper than many of the other options, but they do the job. Note that they do only clamp down to the bed and where you attach the clamps it will chip the paint and will get surface rust. I've attached a couple kayak racks to them and we can hold both kayaks and a large 14' canoe at the same time and seems very secure. Maybe not durable enough for a contractor wanting to load up 500 lbs of lumber, but it does the job for this weekend warrior.
