WESDAR Computer Speakers, 3.5mm USB Powered with Sub for Desktop, Laptop, Tablets, Pair (Orange)

For the most part I love these speakers. They do have a somewhat "hollow" sound sometimes, but at other times the sound is more than impressively clear. It all depends on your sound source, if you have great sound in, these speakers will push out great sound. However, if you put processed garbage sound (as many music services provide) it will push that garbage out resulting in a muffled sound. This is a hallmark of a well engineered speaker. Jackie DeShannon Spotify recordings sounded amazing. I've never heard her voice reproduced so clearly, and the orchestration was vivid and enjoyable. Then a Kinks song came on and sounded muffled, then a Sinatra recording, and again perfection. So all this speaker does is give you what it's given, and doesn't color the sound much except that because the speaker sets back in a well kind of casing, there is a bit of hollow sound sometimes. For the money I can over look the short cords people are complaining about and so far no buzzing. I just leave them plugged in and "on" all the time, and there are no annoying noises even when they are turned up full volume on the switch provided. If the cords fit your computer and you don't need to separate them that much, these speakers provide an exceptional clarity and power to your computer. I can't turn them up more than about a third of the way on my computer volume control without having to turn down the sound.

A couple of things...first, these are very cool looking. Also they are nice and compact. They have a high tech appearance.which is fun.They are USB powered rather than plugged into the wall, which is more convenient.However, i am returning them because of a couple of issues. First and foremost they have no bass to speak of. i compared them with a pair of Logitech speakers which I bought at Best Buy. The price difference was $5.00. The Logitech speakers are not as cool looking, or as compact, but they sound a lot better in a side by side comparison.Also the volume and on/off is on the cord, not on the front, finally, there is no pilot light to indicate whether they are on or off.Neither of these are going to sound like Bose speakers, but the difference was apparent.

I have not reviewed anything on amazon before, but I figured I would start. Being a music freak, I needed cheap speakers for a computer at work, since I play pandora all day. These are great! The sound is very clear, they look neat and just plain work. Replaced a set of older Creative speakers that were suppose to be dominate and these little guys sound better. Not to mention they look like spaceships.

Makes crackling noises even when the volume dial is set to low. the crackling noise is so bad that it is not worth using. Don't waste your money or time.

My original AC powered PC speakers were almost 10 years old and the sound was awful, so it was time to replace them. These owl eyeball look-alike speakers are great. The sound is clear and concise, maybe a bit weak on the bass side, but hey, this is not a Harmon Kardon high level sound system and they suit my needs perfectly. A bonus is that they're powered by a USB port so you don't have to worry about plugging them into a hard to find AC outlet. For $10, you can't go wrong, it's a "wise" decision.

For the price of these speakers the sound quality is amazing! I play an online game and after hooking these speakers up and playing I have heard small details and quality sound I haven't heard in the game before in years of playing. Great for a laptop with crappy stock speakers. I had to turn my computer sound halfway down because they are so loud. I recommend if your needing speakers and are on a budget.

These are good cheap speakers and I assume that if you are buying $10 speakers that you don't care too much about optimal sound quality. I use these speakers (I bought 2 sets) for listening to podcasts while I shower and to play drone pitches and a metronome while I practice music. I had burnt out a speaker on my mac book. So these speakers are fine. They sound like cheap speakers trying to sound expensive. The speakers are very bass heavy. I'm personally not a fan of a bunch of bass but it's not unlistenable and for what I use them for they are fine. They're fine, It's fine, they're fine

3rd attempt for decent pair of speakers and finally nailed it. Can't go wrong for price point! Puts my Surface Book internal speakers to shame. Loud with good sound. Decent bass, mids and highs clear. Stylish, attractive. Overall great buy for the $!
