This collar failed in less than 24 hours. Luckily, we were in our yard when the failure happened. This collar is more decorative than for active use. The material seems cool, but design wise it needs to be a little more robust for an active dog. If this collar was thicker and the holes riveted, it would be a nice option. Otherwise, I view it as a dangerous product and would avoid.

Bought this collar since my dog loves the water. It is completely waterproof and super easy to clean! Giving it 4 starts since it was extremely long so I had to trim it and puncture new holes. As well the metal is stating to rust ... not the BEST quality and won’t last forever but great for the price.

I have had several "chew proof" collars consumed by my pups (during play they tend to chew on each others collars). The Ultrahund collars have held up much longer and they also cannot twist them while on each others necks near as readily so are a much safer option as well!

The original collar lasted for several years of terrier abuse and finally broke at the bend where the collar loops through the buckle. I was disappointed to note that the newest collar is thinner material and less flexible and is already beginning to show tiny cracks at the stress points. When this one breaks, I'll be looking for another brand.

I like this collar because I can clean it and it doesn't get smelly like a cloth collar. It does tend to stretch a bit.

My little dog (8lbs) had this collar on for 24 hours and already managed to destroy it. It is nice looking and seems durable but it is definitely not at all.

We recently adopted a large shepherd mix, and this collar was WAY too big for him, even on the smallest hole! The 24" measurement is the center hole on the collar, not the one at the very end.That being said, Ultrahund collars are of AMAZING quality. We returned and bought the 20" one, which fit perfectly :) LOVE that this comes with a durable glow-in-the-dark tag for him too!

It really is us stink-proof and indestructible. My dog is very hard on collars and this one looks new after months of wear. It is a stiff material so might not be great if your dog has a skinny neck or if you have arthritis. My mom had trouble with the buckle because of this. I am pleased with it, though.

Awesome collar. We live on forested property with a pond and our pointer loves to sprint through the trees and tear through the mud on her daily “walks”. The coating on this collar makes cleanup easy and smells never develop like they do with a standard nylon collar. Well worth the extra money.

Ok so I first gave this 2 star rating as this 3/4 thick collar didnt last my dog 24hours.I contacted the company and talked to the sales representative. She was very helpful in fixing this for me and said that I should have got the 1inch one in the 16" length as its much thicker then the one I purchased here, so she shipped me the replacement right away.I would buy again. This his company is Canadian and stands behind everything they sell.

Horrible!I've owned other Ultra Hund collars and leashes before and this one is pure trash. Fake maybe? Extremely thin and broke after 2 walks. Clasp split right down the middle of the buckle holes. Horrible!
