Easy to use and setup, perfect for a three bedroom house,
Perfect for a three bedroom house due to portability and very good range, also works in garage out back about 20 yards from bell push. Bell push was easy to fix using the double sided tape fixing it very securely, pull out the thin plastic to allow the battery to connect and fit two AA batteries into each bell unit and away you go. Lots of different tunes to play with ( different tunes can be set on each bell unit) and they are loud enough to hear around the house over the sound of the TV, the lights flash different colours and they attract your attention if in your eyesight. They are discreet and benefit from being powered by batteries so no problem during the expected blackouts this winter and they work up the rear garden so we still know when someone is at the front door. Great system very pleased with them, may buy another set in the future so we can have another bell push by the back gate and have a bell unit permanently in the garage. Buy it, you wont be dissapointed.

Good sound quality, smart little set. No tool installation. Plenty of tunes. Fab volume
Smart easy to install I just used the sticky pad and attached it to my front door. Good selection of tunes . The volume is goodfor us as we haven't got great hearing. Looks very smart in black easy to carry small and compact. Easy to move around from room to room or take in the garden . Good price. I'm more than happy with the purchase. Good price!

Can be USB powered, but not rechargable.
The receiver has a very strange battery setup, it takes AA cells or USB power but the the battery bay is actually very tight and many quality NiMh rechargable AA's will not fit... and you would have to remove them to recharge anyway. There is actually a separate connector for a Lithium ion cell, which would make the unit rechargeable via USB I believe, and the web site mentions this, but does not show where to purchase, or what the connector type is. I've dropped 1 star because of this weird battery situation.... but very likely I will ultimately source my own lithium ion rechargeable cell and fit it. Otherwise the unit works very well, although many of the sound options are pretty tacky. In the mean time I have done probably the least "intended" install possible, as I have a working (wired) bell box and just wanted an extension for the garden etc... so I opened the supplied bell push and soldered a pair of wires across the button, and added a relay into the relevant circuit in my existing bell box to trigger the transmitter... so it is triggered when then wired bell sounds, I secured the pcb with some tape to the inside of the bell box so it's hidden, but accessible if the battery ever needs replacing. Works great, but be aware that you could easily destroy the device if you make a mistake trying to replicate this.... if you try to copy this you are entirely responsible for any disasters!

Ready for use in seconds
This doorbell comes in 2 parts, the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter comes with a battery anready in it, just pull out the little white tab to activate it. The receiver can be powered via usb or with 3 x AA batteries (not supplied). Presumably you can use rechargable batteries and recharge them through the USB port. I won't know for sure if that's the case until the batteries run down. You can test each of the 39 ringtones in turn, and when the doorbell button is pressed a bright RGB ring lights up. This is something I needed as I wear noise-canceling headphones a lot, so it's good to have a visual indication that someone's at the door.Cycle through 4 different volume levels by pressing the volume button. The loudest setting isn't going to make you jump out of your skin, but it's loud enough. Some ringtones are significantly louder than others, so if you want something extra loud you can pick from the louder tones. The provided adhesive tabs stick the bell to my front door firmly, and a few spare tabs are provided too, but if you want a more secure fix then screws are supplied to screw the bell to the door.Cheap, simple to set up, takes seconds. Very happy with my purchase.

For a cheap doorbell this is really good
I bought this as what was at the time pretty much the cheapest wireless doorbell on amazon. It works amazingly well, everything is nicely made and I can plug the indoor part in to USB and so don't have to mess around with a power adapter using up a socket or batteries. I used a power monitor to test it and it uses almost no power at all when waiting for someone to ring the doorbell. Really amazingly low power. It has nice chimes and you can select them etc. The button feels pretty good quality and it has been exposed to rain and is still working.

Stops working and needs a reset
You need to reset this occasionally to allow it to continue working or it loses connection to the other piece. I bought this for my mother in law and they've missed a parcel due to it not working. Otherwise it is a good product, nice range of tunes and easy to install

Is it easy to set up and instal?
And the answer to both is definitely yes! Mine just arrived about 15 minutes ago, and it's set up already and I'm an OAP! It isn't fixed to the outer wall yet but I have plans for that on Monday. I'm in a first floor flat belonging to a Housing Association and have had two bells before which plugged in a wall socket indoors, but I live on an extremely windy corner so each time it rained the weather ruined the battery inside the bell push. Before ordering this one I rang the Association and asked would they be good enough to put the bell push up for me with screws and not just the sticky pad and in a sheltered place near to my front door, and they said it would be no problem so I can't wait 'til Monday when they'll be open and I've already got my tune picked out!! Over one year later and I am oh so glad I bought this bell, I've found it to be really excellent and have only needed to replace the batteries in the bell push once. I can hear the ring all over my flat (and I'm quite deaf) without having to carry the inner ring part around with me from room to room. I think it's been a really good purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Don't recommend
Bought this 3 years ago, unless the bell is permanently on charge it keeps dying and no notification of this. Had the button under our canopy but when we moved it away/out of the canopy's protection of rain it died in a few months. Don't recommend and wouldn't buy this again.
