A very good cooling pad(2 years of use.)
The pad itself is made mostly from plastic, which feels like it is high quality. The metal parts also feel nice. The pad is quiet, but not silent, yet it is easy to get used to the sound. The cooling iself isn't very fast - don't expect the laptop to cool as soon as you put it on the pad. But in long-term, the temperatures are lower.Overall, I recommend this pad, but if your budget isn't very limtied, consider getting a branded one, possibly with the ability to create a seal between the laptop and the pad - this pad only cools thr laptop case, while ones that provide a a seal force the air inside of the heatsinks.

Works wonders for me!
So when I purchased this I definitely thought it was going to be some heavy clunky thing to lug around, but it’s actually so lightweight & easy to carry around depending on where I use my laptop in my house. I was also concerned about noise levels but even with the fans on max my laptop has sounded louder. I do also like the option of being able to have the RGB lights on or off (obviously like different light modes as well). I can play my laptop from anything like an hour to 5/6 hours at a time & this has definitely worked in keeping my laptop cool. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to keep their laptop cool during gameplay!

Not Truly For 17'3 Laptops.
I've only had the cooling fan since yesterday. I'm going to make a pros and cons list.Pro - The fans work really well - are quiet - and have multiple speeds.Pro - Very sturdyPro - Easy to adjust.Pro - Does keep my laptop at acceptable temperatures while gaming a high-graphics video game.Con - No choice to switch off the border lighting.Con - Does not truly fit a 17-inch laptop. You have to cover the controls and your laptop will still hang off the back by an inch or so.Con - The male-to-male USB cord is flimsy and I expect it to break easily. Luckily, I already have a quality cord.Would I recommend it? Sure, if you have a 15' laptop or less. I bought this one at a used-like new discount so I'll keep it until it dies.

Perfect for cooling an overheating gaming laptop!
The wifes been using this to cool her laptop after it started getting too hot while playing a couple AAA games (Ark, Dead by daylight... etc) it's helped dramatically reduce the overall temps of the cpu and gpu. The side slot for the phone has also been very useful while she's been in meetings, having the phone upright next to the screen makes it a lot easier for her to check incoming messages while on call. Would definitely recommend to anyone that has a laptop that gets a bit too hot.

Disappointing waste of money
I've had this about a month. The power usb on the back works intermittently. As I have my keyboard plugged in there, this morning I decided to rearrange everything.I have noticed now, that 5 of the six fans have worked, the left hand big fan has never worked. The other big fan spins so slow you can see it.So, I need to buy a new one... not this.Oh - the reason I chose this in the 1st place was for the phone holder. I never used it. Its in the wrong place.Spend your money more wisely than I did.EDIT: the lights work. No fans are working now.Ordered a replacement.

Great product!!
Insanely happy with this product, the pegs to hold it up when its at a different height don't work with my particular shape of laptop but that's fine as I like it to be flat anyway, the phone stand is great, can have it on either side, very quiet fans, awesome colours around the edge of the stand. Overall a great stand!

I'd recommend

Phone holder couldn’t be cheaper or nastier. Plastic broke as I unboxed it.
Having the phone holder break as I unboxed the packaging doesn’t fill me with confidence. The speed controls and lighting seem nice but at around £27 I’m not sure it was worth the extra money. There are plenty of other options for around half the price.Feels cheap. Looks great. Shame the rubber covers for the pop up feet can’t fold down flat. They have to be removed when folding it up.Just hope it’s reliable and the fans don’t fail within weeks as some other reviews suggest. For the price it had better last for years. But first impressions make me think it won’t.The lighting feature is the USP here but of course totally unnecessary for cooling. But does look great.Update: Nearly a year on and all the fans still work. I'd forgotten about the cheap and nasty phone holder which was utterly pointless. The rest of it has lasted almost a year so far and still going strong.
