It has been almost 2 years, but finally getting around to reviewing this fantastic barn door.If you’re looking for a barn door, look no further. We shopped and planned for 3 months before picking this option. This is beautiful, was easy to install, works perfectly, saved us hundreds of dollars, and looks absolutely beautiful.Assembly required- this is a box of lumber. The lumber is unstained. I recommend staining before assembly. My guys didn’t do tgis (they stained after assembly) and there are places between the planks where unstained wood is visible. I tried touching up with a tiny paint brush and q-tip, which doesn’t get enough stain into those hard to reach places. Do yourself a favor and go through the initial hassle of staining all tge individual planks before assembly.The door assembly, staining, hardware installation, and mounting took an easy weekend for hubby and fiend to do. No complications. Easy peasy - and a fun bonding weekend.The results are gorgeous. GORGEOUS. We added this to the master bath of a log home in the Rocky Mountains. And I could not be happier. Yes, even the tiny places where the stain did not reach (stained after assembly) make it look rustic and beautiful. It’s been two years, and still perfect / smooth operation. And it is so beautiful to look at. Truly a piece of art.

I liked the door in general. It is lightweight and easy to assemble but after assembly it hung a little "warped". So we reassembled it and still had the same problem. It also had some gaps in the middle boards. We have kept it for the simple reason that it would be too much trouble to send back.
