P-A000146N - 6" Extension Cord with Flat Rotating Plug - Black

Product seemed to work for first couple months. I had this placed behind a desk and occasionally used it for charging laptop.Purchased in August and product caught fire in late November. Thankfully I was attentive and caught it before it burned my house down.

I was expecting it to be 6 inches from end to end, but it ended up being 12 inches from end to end. I needed something rather short, but this is too long.If you only consider the length of the wire between the plugs, even that is 7 inches long.Other than the length, it seems to be a great little extension cord

I recently wall-mounted a TV and soundbar along with a Roku Premiere Plus and an Asus Router. I needed everything to fit behind the TV above the mantle and didn't want any wires or shelving. This worked perfectly until I actually mounted the TV to the wall and found that the MASSIVE plugs Roku and Asus use on their products were preventing the TV from sitting at the proper angle (thankfully it was a tilting wall mount but these plugs sticking out from the wall a few inches caused the TV to be tilted much too far and I didn't like the idea of them pushing on the back of the TV and the back of the TV pushing on them).I used Hug-A-Plugs for my standard two-prong plugs for the TV and soundbar, but what to do about these little power bricks? Enter these things... They have a SUPER low-profile plug and the 6" extension was plenty long enough for me to get the Roku and Asus bricks away from the back of the TV and situated in such a way that they weren't causing any issues.If you're going for a low-profile wall-mount solution, don't have "inset" boxes (I wish I had done this initially to solve all these issues) and need to plug in things that will stick out too far or that will impact the TV in any way, these are a fantastic solution. They're well made, sturdy and being able to rotate means they can adapt to a variety of situations. For adding a Roku (specifically), you need these because of the GIGANTIC brick Roku uses for their TINY boxes. Makes no sense to me at all, but these are a fantastic solution.

I used this in an outdoor covered electrical box because the plug of the item plugged in stuck out enough that the cover would not close.It is an in use cover, so now with this short pig tail extension the cover can close properly.The Guage wire matched up with the item being plugged into it so no load issuesWould recommend this also inside on any wall with furniture because it gives you that 90 degree flush connection so you could push furniture right up against it to get even the littlest space back for furniture placement.Swivel feature is a plus if you want the cord to travel in a different direction.Highly recommended.

This is a really short "extension" cable, but it serves a great purpose. I had our Roomba station plugged in behind a bench, so the bench had to sit 1-2 inches out from the wall so it wouldn't crush the cable. Adding just this little extender that is flat makes it so the bench can slide against the wall without crushing the cable. Not only does it look better - it's safer and better for the power cable of the Roomba. I really like the ability to 'turn' the male plug end of the cable, though it does lead to a bit of concern for the longevity of the cable, as while turning it I wonder what is happening with internal components. I would like it to feel a bit more rigid so I know things inside the cable aren't breaking.I would attach a picture of how the bench looked before vs now after the cable but the option to attach pictures is not available, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

This is a very useful little adapter cord and is well made and strong. The right angle flat plug lets it fit almost anywhere. The plug diameter does not obstruct adjacent outlets. It's great that the plug can be rotated to different orientations but I expected this meant it could be set to several fixed angles. Surprise! - the plug continuously rotates through 360deg and stays that way - there is no way to lock it into any fixed angle. That worked for me, maybe not for everyone.

I bought several of these. All are still working great 4+ months later. I use them for two reasons: (1) They make on-desk UPS unit look much less cluttered with tall cables, and (2) allows me to shove furniture a lot closer to the wall (by as much as two inches in some cases). I've also found that they can help with access to power outlets behind the wall-mounted television, too.

I purchased this to plug into an exterior outlet, so I could leave the outlet cover closed even with my device plugged in. My outlet cover is the Hubble-Bell ML450Z (https://www.amazon.com/Hubbell-Bell-ML450Z-Weatherproof-Expandable-Configurations/dp/B00HKN3Z6Q/ref=sr_1_4?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1500068070&sr=1-4&keywords=hubbell+taymac). I did have to dremmel down the neck a bit to get it to fit, but otherwise, this is exactly what I needed.
