Update! After wearing it snowboarding it’s a little too tight and the perifial vision isn’t awesome but with a few tweaks I think I can make it work.So awesome. Very similar to all the over the helmet hoods from gnarly, or burton but so much cheaper and honestly the quality is just as nice. I have an xs womens anon helmet and it fits fine over it. A little snug but doable and still very comfortable. I work in the snowboard retail industry and even though there awesome I hated the idea of spending $25-$70 on a fleece hood but this does the job!

I farm, which means I have to go out in the nastiest weather, and just bought my second of these. The first I wore through the last 2 winters and I'm adding a second to have around - the first still looks new.I've purchased three other brands of similar looking product on Amazon but this brand is far better. First, it's not too bulky to pull a sweatshirt or jacket hood over although it's just as warm as thicker ones. Second, the fit is comfortable - it's shaped properly so there are no gaps or bulges. Third, the front and back panels are long enough to tuck next to the bottom clothing layer and keep drafts from creeping in at the top of the chest or back - this makes a huge difference in keeping your whole upper body warm. Finally - and this is a big difference against several similar products I've tried - there is an inner collar that goes all around the neck. In many other designs, this piece actually doesn't extend back and is just stitched to the main hood as a chin cover. In this design, you can pull the hood back entirely, and the inner collar forms a warm snug scarf all around the neck that you can scrunch down or pull up to the bottom of your ears. It looks cute and is often warm enough without the hood up, especially because your upper chest and upper back are still covered. Even going out for chores when it's around freezing, I sometimez wear this and a heavy sweatshirt and am warm enough without a bulky coat. Oh, and it looks great! My first one is burgundy and at two years washes up and looks new. The new one is deep chocolate brown. Both are neutral enough to look well with most outfits. Anyway, get this particular one, because I've tried several other brands and this one is by far the best. Most of my farm work clothing I'd never wear out, but this is the accessory I grab for every single cold weather occasion.

This balaclava from UpMall is truly an excellent product in so many aspects. Firstly, the fleece material is super-soft and really dense ensuring that it will provide warmth and wind-stopping power to its user. Secondly, UpMall finally got it right when it comes to the length of the material that can be comfortably smoothed out underneath your primary outerwear so as to keep the cold and the wind out and the warmth in!!! The balaclava has plenty of material which allows you to truly form a barrier from the elements while still allowing you the freedom of easy movement. Finally, the fit and finish of the product are flawless!!! The stitching is heavy duty, and the pull cords to cinch down the hood portion of the balaclava are also a very good thickness. I can't wait to wear this article and laugh at the cold all the while being kept warm by this excellent product!!!

Yes, it is a little small on the head - I measure 7 3/8" for hats and this balaclava feels like "small"; THOUGH, when the wind hits hard you'll understand why this is a great thing!!! Especially when walking or waiting for your train home that comes late which was my case. I had to be there as long as many other people, some struggling with scarfs, others with those hoodies that the wind "played with". This balaclava resisted wind blasts and performed its final dutty just fine: keep me warm... I wear it during a day we were around 0°C and some others under 5°C and it keeps my ears, cheecks and nose warm. Would I buy it again? Yes! For the money I paid and the reasons above, I will get one of this if I get to need another one. Can't tell you how it feels under 0 or when it snows. Any update will be submitted inmediatelly.

Wind chills hitting -40 here in the upper Midwest and this thing has been great. The quality is excellent and the fit should be fine for most folks. I have a big head and it is just snug on me. I like that the hood is large enough that when you pull the strings it comes down to cover the forehead, pull them hard enough and all that shows is your beady little eyes. That fogs up the glasses though. I like the extra material that they provide around the neck like a scarf. I certainly would not hesitate to order again.

This certainly does the trick! As the picture shows, this will not come up above your nose but will hang out right in front of your mouth. This is fine and I can maneuver things so that it does cover my nose when I need it to. I did note that while this does fit perfectly for me, a rather average sized female (5'8", 150lbs.), it might not work for those with fuller faces. I like it because it fits a little snugly around my face which makes it so that not a lot of wind gets in the hood and it keeps my ears and cheeks mice and cozy, this might not work for everyone though. You have a choice between having the part that covers your mouth up, or having it down which gives you fantastic insulation around your neck keeping you super toasty. This is going to be used a lot this winter, I can already tell. Highly recommended!

This just arrived. I live in Ottawa Canada and from just putting it on to test I can say it will work really well as a neck and face warmer.The hood part is about as thick as a standard hoodie hood. So the top of your head might get cold in really cold weather but I don't see that being a problem for me as I got it to compliment my coats wind breaker hood.The face mask can be brought all the way up over your ears and up to your eyes. And is really thick and warm.I have a huge head and it fits

Mine isnt UPmall, its "Joyoldelf" (refer to photo) so Im giving it 3 stars for false advertising. Otherwise, it fits great and is nice and warm.

Doesn't breath, too bulky and uncomfortable under a helmet.I wore it for two ski sessions and each time i ended up soaked in my sweat and breath/steam (from breathing), it was such a gross and uncomfortable feeling.Three stars cause its terrible for any winter sports, but if you're out shovelings snow, walking to the store, etc, then its decent/perfect.It covers your neck well and is best worn under your jacket.

Was a little tighter than I would have liked. I cannot wear a toque underneath it, just not enough room to wear it. Pretty warm but also not windproof like advertised. I feel wind cut through the back of the hood at the back of my head and through the face mask. Also tightening the hood via the pullcords on the front is required in high wind situations, otherwise the loose flaps may suddenly cover your eyes and reduce your visibility.

Product arrived on time. Upon closer inspection I was disjointed with the stitching around the hood. The stitching is all coming out of the seams. As well I thought the hood would be a little larger. I was hoping to be able to fit a helmet underneath it for boarding. I am not a large adult so I was shocked at how small the hood actually was. Understand this hood will not fit under a helmet and might not fit most large males.

I bought this for my son who’s 4. Though it’s for adults it fits him really well and keeps him nice and warm and out of the cold wind. I can cover his mouth and nose and with the stings I can pull them until it’s just his eyes showing. It has been really used on our walks in the dog park and forest.

Is warm as I use his when I walk my dog in the winter. My only complaint isn't that it keeps moving as I have ego readjust to my comfort and sometimes it rides up as I have a small head. Maybe it would be at if it came in different sizes instead of 1

Bought one initially which ended up being owned by another family member immediately, so I ended up ordering another. Fits well, very comfortable, and looks stylish while on you. I find the branding too "in your face" but can easily be hidden with a few strategic tucks so not a biggie. I would suggest to put the logo at the back instead to resolve this issue. My husband is a large man and this would not have been a comfortable fit for him, but average sized heads would find this a perfect fit. Keeps the wind off of you, your ears and neck warm, and your head too should you opt to cover any of these. Worked well on the slopes while skiing as well as everyday city use.

realy nice, only bad thing is that it doesnt really absorb the humidity or lets it pass.. it sends it back to you and it gets kinda wet inside

Bought a pair for my son and my nephew for holiday gifts. Quality construction. Looks cool - very functional, and replaces a scarf - just sit around the neck as a nice warm neck cover until pulled up (one less thing for a young boy to misplace!)

I like the design/concept a lot, but it seems to not be perfectly tailored to my dimensions. The cap fits ok, but I find it has an odd shape. The material is warm and the color is nice, although I'm not fond of the branding color/location. I dropped one star because I think the scarf piece should be wider. As always, the issue is not much with the product itself, rather with buying clothing online. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this for my Halloween costume. It's a perfect hood and it's comfortable and warm, maybe too warm because I'll be wearing it indoors mostly. Regardless, it's good quality and it will work well just as a warm headpiece if that's what you need it to be.

I use it to protect my face and head from cold in winter. Totally fits my need.Some comments mentioned it is too big in size and is fit for a horse. Though it's true, it's size doesn't trouble you at all.

Disappointing. Definitely NOT windproof. I live in a windy town and I freeze every time it's windy. I actually need to put a hat underneath and it is difficult to do since the hood is a lot tigher than expected.

It’s very nice and I love the style. Very warm too. Even my 6yrs old daughter likes it, so I’m buying another one for her.
