Once you know how to use it, it works fantastically
The media could not be loaded. When I was a kid, my grandma would go to the market with me and buy freshly pressed noodles. She would shout out how much she wanted, the lady over the counter would then use a noodle machine rolls out the expected amount. At that age, I had no idea how these things work. The only thing I know is that the noodles bought this way always tasted better.Fast forward to now, with COVID-19, I’m starting to cook more and also in more creative ways. I saw this machine and immediately was reminded of y childhood. I was worried when I bought it because the reviews were not so positive. But I wanted to give it a try.To be honest, it was a disappointment when I just got the machine. It confirmed everything the negative review was saying - there were left-over machine oil on it and it does not seem to cut my noodles right. I was almost going to return it.But I decided to check the internet again for tips and I’m so glad I did because now, it runs so smoothly and I’m so excited to use it every time.It turns out, with this kind of machine, the first thing you need to do is to clean the machine with some not needed dough. You have to roll it again and again to make sure the oil were removed. When you make noodles, you need to make sure the dough is relatively dry - just not too wet because otherwise it won’t form noodles. And then, you need to roll your dough into a relatively flat shape. So here is the key - you have to roll it just into dough (the space at the innermost level) with thickness setting starting from 1 and go over 1 level every time until it reaches the thickness you are looking for. To ensure better result, roll it at level 1 for at least twice.Once you have your dough at the right thickness, now you can cut your noodles SO smoothly. Please see my video and check out how nicely it can go in.Another great thing I like about this machine is that it gives you the option to fix it on a counter. This is very needed especially when you roll the dough the first time. This function makes it so much easier. Also, this machine has a cover! So I don’t have to worry about dust. And the cover also serves as a place to place the rest of the dough when I have it go in.Overall, I’m so, so, so happy that I didn’t just return this machine and watched some YouTube video on how to use it. And the machine has worked so beautifully ever since. Love it!Now I may have those nostalgic moments and some delicious fresh noodles. Ah! Also perhaps I could try making pasta too! Ha!

Thoughtful improved design
It’s a very practical and manageable manual pasta machine. I used to have one just like this more than 15 years ago, it worked fine but the metal got rusted and didn’t work smoothly after a year. Ever since I gave up on manual pasta machine, until now, I got plenty of time at home working on some new recipes I decided to find one worthwhile. First I like the dust cover on the top which makes storing easily. Three cutting head and the dough flattened head are just great option for most recipes. Also easy to adjust the thickness too. Very sturdy compared to the one I used to have and I am totally impressed how the quality and new design has been improved. I love the classic red color. After using for weeks now, just having a bid problem with the handle, be careful it comes off easily so don’t do it in a rush. The handle dropped down on my floor several times while I was making flat of the dough within 30 minutes. But it’s totally understandable since it’s multi function machine we do need to remove the handle for different spot for different function.

It looked good at first...
I wanted to try making my own pasta noodles, so I was excited when I ordered this. However, when it arrived, I noticed that the metal parts had some brownish sticky residues. It looked like the machine was really old and rusty. There was also a pungent smell coming out from the metal cutter. I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the machine. I would have tried this if it was clean, but because of the rust, I did not even bother with it and just returned it.

Bought for Polymer Clay conditioning. It works!
I bought this for clay conditioning since it was cheaper and look more sturdily built than actual clay conditioners. I am happy with my purchase. Easy to use. Comes with vice clamp but the built in suction cup works pretty well too.So far the clay hasn't stuck to the drum at all. Biggest trick to clay conditioning though is making sure you aren't folding air bubbles into the clay, otherwise you get a rough texture. Completely happy with this so far.

Husband uses..but some issues
Turning handle keeps falling out and the c-clamp won't accommodate a butcher block table

review
Just used this product to make homemade pasta for the first time tonight and it could not have been easier! Had a bit of trouble getting the dough to go through the angel hair cutter so I just cut those pieces into thicker noodles, it will probably just take some getting used to though. Cleaning the noodle cutting attachment can be a little tricky so make sure you generously flour the sheets before feeding them into the cutters to ensure noodles don't get stuck in the blades.

I like this and use it often. but..
It doesn't really sucktion onto my counter and the clamp is to short to hold it in place. I have to hang onto it at the same time I am turning the handle. Makes it a hassle some times to use.

Broke after one try
I make noodles often, I had a cheap machine that worked great but I used it till it broke. Great machine, would have bought it again but thought I should treat myself to a more expensive one.It suctioned to my counter fine but eventually the suction wore off and when I went to resuction it, it didn't work anymore. I thought whatever, I'll use the C clamp.Went to the noodle making part and two comb shaped things fell down from the machine and jammed it full of dough.I do not recommend this machine, the cheap little ones work better.
