I needed a tray for something sturdy on top of my ottoman, which I use as a sort of "coffee table". This fits the bill. It is nice solid wood, a good shape, and goes well with my decor. I like the handles in case I want to carry it with drinks, and the high sides. The four coasters that came with it are okay; however, I might try to attach some sort of backing so that they don't slide around so much. Also, the tray could be a teeny bit larger for my purposes - I'd like to be able to have a magazine in it, plus drink on coaster, and there's not a lot of wiggle room for anything else.

When I ordered the tray it appeared black to me but it arrived in a dark mahogany stain. I figure I can always paint it black if need be as the functionality is exactly what I was looking for.

The first tray I received was broken and beat up, but I could tell that the color was awesome, and the shape was perfect, so I tried again. The second one was much better. No breaks, but did have some imperfections on the edges. The company should really think about different packaging like foam or bubble wrap. The shrink wrap isn't enough to keep it safe. It's a rich dark walnut color. Real wood. No smell, and perfect size for 3 candles and a plant. Love the shape of it, and that it has actual handles.

I recently changed my furniture. I decided to switch to walnut wood, blues and browns. This tray was what was needed to tie the coffee table look together. We keep it on the table to hold remote controls and cups, but also use it to eat snacks when we watch TV. It is light so not diffucult for my kids to hold on their knees. It’s a perfect size for 1 full sized plate, a desert dish, small salad bowl and a drink. I love it! The coasters are nothing special. No felt or cork so they might scratch my new table. I might glue cork on them myself. My teen uses it often to eat while distance learning. Buy it!

Great solid wood. No discoloration. The coasters are sturdy and smooth. Would buy again.

Bought this as a gift for Father’s Day for a Decanter crystal set to sit on. And it looks really good. It’s very sturdy and I don’t have to worry about any accidents of moving it. So far so good happy with my purchase!

This is much handier than TV trays, if we choose to watch TV while eating.
