This is fine as far as these type of wire nut files go. Overall the package is good value if you know what you are getting. What you are basically getting, though, is various gauges of wire with some shallow grooves cut into them. They can work to smooth or round out the slots in your nut, but actually cutting the slots with these would be like digging through a rock wall with a butter knife.This is packaged nicely and decent quality for what it is, but what it is is not very useful.

Nice little kit. The files aren't the best but there is a zillion of them.

Does the job of widening the nut slot, but not sturdy. Fair price though.
