Tried this at first with a 1Amp (USB 1.x) power source. Very flaky. Then switched to a USB 3.x USB power source (2Aamp) and things got *MUCH* better.The software is kinda klunky. It took a while to get the device to scan the available wi-fi networks and to get it onto our normal wi-fi network SSID.Update: After a while the unit refused to connect to wi-fi at all. I got about 3 uses before it utterly failed. The software quality is terrible - very slow and it forgets Wi-fi SSIDs that it was told to remember.I would not recommend this device to anyone.

But it is possible to use screen share, even for iPhones and MacBooks!At first I was disappointed because I thought I got a Google Chromecast (I did not read all the product description as I usually do) and it wasn’t it. But I was super surprised when I realized I could use screen mirroring from my iPhone as well as my MacBook! No wires or anything, super easy!

This is an excellent product. It will not be superimposed on my Chromecast device. I have looked through many different products that I have purchased and some said that their devices were not available for Netflix or YouTube. I don't seem to have those issues with Anycast. the overall image quality is great or even better. Some changes have been made to the instructions for set up for Samsung Galaxy S8. In Anycast Mode:1 for Android,to enable wireless on S8 you must access Anycast through screen mirroring in the settings rather than screen mirroring rather than through screen mirroring wireless display. In DLNA mode you will be asked to press the FN button again. the Anycast app in the Google Play store doesn't suit me. I tried the Chromecast app on my S8 and it finds my Anycast device. By selecting Anycast as mentioned above there is no need to use QR codes. I'm not sure if this works on other android models, but I hope this will help others with their purchases and set up process.

Before i purchased this item i asked if it works with apple tv, the answer was yes. I received the item and it work with everything but apple tv. Im not sure if the person who answered my question was the seller but the got the wrong fact. This doesn't work with apple tv ( see picture attached of the error message)

We bought this for my in-laws as they don’t have WiFi and we’re looking for a way to stream movies from iPad or computer to tv. This product will not work for that. It requires a router and WiFi to use with any android or pc. Apple devices allow you to mirror the screen without having WiFi however they block the streaming of any movies. Basically this was a waste of time and money.

This is my second one! I bought one over a year ago, bought another one for second tv. I absolutely love this. My daughter seen it and requested one for Christmas. So I just purchased another one. I highly recommend. This one is easier to use than the last one, the picture quality is spectacular and hook up super simple. I watch all my apps on tv from this one toggle

Only one week old but great product so far.The only issue I have is that it is not setup to pass through the new apple tv app or iTunes videos. Maybe on the next version or an update if that is possible.
