Another good quality Uniweld tool
Nice quality tool by Uniweld as I expected. Good finish and works very well. The finish is nice and the tool is sturdy and well machined by the manufacturer. I use Uniweld products daily and never have any issues with their products so I expect none with this item for as long as it's in my tool bag. The price is very competitive with the other name brand items like it and it will hold up much better than the cheapos out there. Qucik shipping, great price, good quality - all the things i look for when buying!

but you have to understand the ideal usage - this is not a small hand tool for easily fitting loose pieces
Works very well, but you have to understand the ideal usage - this is not a small hand tool for easily fitting loose pieces. It's rather large and heavy for its size, and you need a lot of clearance to work with it. You need to more or less hammer it into an already fitted copper end, and the pipe needs to be in a strong, fixed location. You won't be able to just hold a piece of pipe and push or hammer it in (at least not without damage).

A Disappointing Tool
I purchased this multi swage tool to swage soft copper tubing to practice brazing. I found the force of the hammer blows needed to get this tool to swage 1/2" soft copper caused the tubing to bend by the time you had a swage made. I purchased a similar tool for about a third the price of this tool from a local tool store. The less expensive tool has a chrome finish and i was able to make clean swages in the same copper without bending the tubing. I would not recommend this tool.

Multi Swag tool for soft copper tubing
Works as it is advertised to. Convenient and helps eliminate an extra solder joints by not having to use a union to connect the same size copper tubing together.

if you can afford to get the spin sedge best tool in a torch box
Old school tried and true, if you can afford to get the spin sedge best tool in a torch box

Handy for repairing or splicing copper linesets.
handy tool for repairing or splicing linesets. due to the length of the tool, you need to make sure the tubing is nice and straight to keep from putting dimples further down in the tubing (if the tip of the punch contacts the side of the tubing).
