This will teach me not to read the ingredients.I bought these for my kids while we're on lockdown. They go through noodles at an alarming rate.They arrived on time and nicely packaged. They were what I was expecting; good size portion and easy for a quick lunch.Sadly, while I was hunting for the cooking instructions on the back, I saw the nice bold PEANTS in the ingredients.Perhaps it's just me but I really wasn't expecting peanuts in chicken noodles. I have a severe allergy and whilst I wasn't going to eat these I can't have nut products in the house. The peanuts are in one of the flavour sachets, not sure which one as there are 2. So, kids ended up with plain noodles and a chicken stock cube which was less than delicious apparently.The actual noodles are very good quality and I'm pretty sure the flavour would be delicious if we could use it.Sadly had to swap to another brand and checked the ingedients thoroughly beforehand this time!

If you are simply looking for tasty rice noodles, look no further! The texture of these rice noodles is perfect. The amount of rice noodles per cup is more than expected. The flavour is great but mild; I personally would prefer a spicier flavour. Preparation time is impressive; your rice noodles will be ready within a few minutes. So what is wrong?! Well, it's the excessive packaging. I have seen nothing quite like it. The cups arrive in a cardboard box. Each cup is wrapped in plastic. Once you remove the plastic and the seal, you are met with even more plastic. Each cup has a plastic fork as well as sachets and rice noodles wrapped in plastic. It's insane! Why would you put sachets or even rice noodles in plastic? This is wasteful, annoying, irresponsible and a great inconvenience. It's 2021. Companies should be striving to reduce plastic usage. Due to Vifon's bizarre commitment to using plastic excessively, I cannot justify buying these rice noodles again.

i like chicken ,i like curry ,i love chiken curry mix dishes,so when browsing on Amazon to see what s on offert i ve decided to give it a go with the Vifon Chicken Curry Instant noodles.The curry is mild hot so yeah you can add some california reaper puree paste if it s your thing .I know i like it .Does not take much time for the noodles to fully hidrate ,you see i put mine in a bowl pour boiling water on top add a lid on top of the bowl.let it chill for 6 min than mix a bit add some parley ,chives chilli peppers .leave for 4 more min and it s goid to serve .It will worm you up from inside out .deffo the right cure for a cold.Taste:-fantasticPrice:-okFlavour:-deffo my kindTime to prepare -10 min to prepare ,30 sec to serve whilst hot;)

Ok so these noodles are actually quite good once cooked but here are the let downs which make it only 3 stars:Cons:-It stinks before it's cooked, when the soup base and oil are first opened and added to noodles the smell to me is revolting. It really put me off initially and I thought the noodles themselves would be horrendous. But once cooking the smell transforms to something much milder and more pleasing.-The oil. I'm not used to adding oil to noodles and maybe that was off putting but really I just don't like having oily hands and it's really easy to get the oil on your fingers.-Price, the price is just a little too high for my liking and this coupled with the initial smell before cooking and oil just makes the whole product less appealing.Pros:- Taste is good. It's mild and pleasant.- The noodles consistency and texture is really good, the noodles are extra long as well which is nice.- I prefer dry noodles but the soup base isn't bad at all and complimented the noodles well.Cooking tip:Instructions call for 400ml of hot water from the kettle into a bowl and to be left for a few minutes.I prefer 300ml of water and to cook in a pot. The noodles still cook within minutes but I prefer noodles cooked in a pot than left to soften in the bowl with hot water.

First off, they're actually flat rice noodles, not wheat noodles like most instant packets are. It does make a nice change as the rice noodles really don't have any taste of their own, so what you get is what you've seasoned them with.Easy to prepare, just add boiling water and steep for a few minutes. Flavour sachet imparts plenty of taste, though the small oil sachet may not be to everyone's taste. Worth trying and then ignoring if you don't like it.Also they slurp really well ^_^

I love these noodles they are so easy to prepare and so tasty, I usually buy them from the supermarket but haven't been able to get them for a couple of weeks, so checked on here and managed to get different flavours and for such a great price. I am a huge fan of Vifon and will no doubt be buying again and again. They also come in great cardboard packaging that you can keep them tidied away in. The flavour is really nice and so tasty, there is a little heat but its not overpowering.

The golden chicken noodles are in my humble opinion the best bowl of noodle soup you can get in a packet hands down. someone said they are overpriced WRONG!! if you can find a better pack of chicken noodles avalible in the uk for the same price or less i will personally come to your house, bow down and write you a essay on why this review is bogus until then they are unchallenged. Of course this in the non spicy area, if you looking for spice the golden chicken is not for you i'd advise hot and sour or chilli chicken personally for the full experince. and please do them justice and have it as a soup this is how they are made to be and how they should be. just stick them in a bowl cover with boiling water add the soup base then wait a little bit then add the oil and mix. slurp slurp, make as much noise as you can eating these for the best flavour experience!
