2x 18650 battery DOA
Package showed up, looked to make sure the battery's didn't have tap or plastic over the contact points. Put the flashlight on the charger all night. Both batteries are dead, when the light in plunged in it works, but take it off the plug and it stops working. Took the apart and cleaned both lights and made the same attempted and the light only works when plunged in.

They Suk!!!
These were a complete waist of time! Although they my look great, the only work while plugged up, WTF!!! Brand new, fresh out the box. I let both charge for 12hours with both doing the exact samething, NOT WORKING. So unless you plan on using these in a stationary position, don't waist your time or money. I gave 1 star because, I couldn't submit it with out at least 1start. My rating -2 stars.

Pretty good, could be better
Although the flashlights are nice and sturdy and appear well built, stars were subtracted because they arrived with no instructions. Normally a flashlight wouldn't need them, but these are shipped with an adhesive spacer on the battery. Many people will be aware of this, but otherwise they will appear defective. Worse yet, the adhesive is a gummy mess, so even when you peel them off you will need to scrape off the residue to get full contact.My other complaint is generic- all these Asian lights use the same control ic, requiring you to cycle through hi, low, blink, and off. The blink is annoying and unnecessary, why not a simple on/off modeStill, these are very handy, I now have one in about every room.

There's a trick to these the Manufacturer doesn't want you to know about.
I received feedback from the seller today concerning this product. The product shipped with two lights and charging cables in a small box. There were no instructions at all. The feedback I received was to unscrew the base of the unit and remove the insulating disk. This is the first flashlight I have ever purchased that had an insulating disk on the spring. I have had several that had a metal plate on the spring which was why I didn't even consider it being an insulator that needed to be removed. As soon as I removed the insulator plate, the light worked as it was intended. To the Manufacturer: For future reference, include instructions in the box to avoid confusion and irate stupid customers like me.I would have rated 4 stars, but deducted one for lack of instructions.

Only works plugged in. UPDATED - it works
The concept is great and the brightness would be sufficient but they only work when plugged in. I'll update the review based on the customer service response.I'd look for another brand for now.Update 3-6---There is a small circle blocking the battery from making contact and working correctly. After removing it they charge and work perfectly. I'm still disappointed in not having any response back. Updated my review as the lights are solid.Disappointed I bought new batteries because of the failure.

They didn't work.
No stars. They did not work. The rubber piece that covers the charging hole came off and I could not get it back in. They did not work. I can't believe these are being sold on Amazon, don't waste your time. One star is being generous.

these seem perfect
These flashlights are VERY BRIGHT, and they seem to REMAIN very bright for quite some time. and I LOVE the USB charge angle -- just plug them in right next to your phone. great for travel too, I"m keeping one in my bag. I keep little flashlights positioned strategically around my house (for peering into cabinets & closets, for late night, & of course for outages) but the ones I had just were not bright enough. THESE, on the other hand, are keepers.

Convenient & Compact
The good parts include a microUSB charging port if you don't want to use an external charger and indicates when it's fully charged (led goes green). It's small - nice for a pocket without sagging. Side switch ! I was looking for that, in particular, as a feature that's very useful. Pushing that button in the back, as in most other models, is dumb.Bad include, more than anything else, that to turn it off you need to go through the entire cycle of modes. It can turn itself on rather easily - that side button can be a bit too sensitive.
