Pretty heavy in weight
I overall am glad i went for the larger size as normally i wear a Uk size 7 but i ordered the size 8 and that is just perfect. To get these on you have to slide your foot into them as there not like normal trainers but once one look like trainers except the weight in them as there made for protecting your feet at work there pretty heavy .The steel cap at the end is sold pretty awesome in fact so overall a good safety pair of trainers also there not as light in the real to the picture showing them but thats probally down to lightning when taking a photo .

These trainers are flexible with steel on the toe.
Safety Shoes for Men with Steel ToeHi! Depending on your job, you may need to protect your feet at work, but at the same time you know, the look is also important.I believe that’s why they invented shoes like these ones.Normally, those who work on construction know, how important is to keep yourself protected at all times with help of protected gears like, helmets, proper shoes and others safety equipment. But depending in the type of work you do, and how far you have to travel, it may not look so nice wearing those constructions boots all the way from home until you arrive at your destination.Option two would be carrying spare shoes. It is on situation like that, shoes like those would be very welcome, Because, this “Safety Shoes for Men with Steel Toe” looks exactly like normal trainers, feels like a trainers, but, it has metal inside to protect your toenails in case you put your foot in the wrong place at the wrong time.I have been using those trainers for some days now, and I realise they will not replace my normal trainers, but, it will give me, that extra protection. These trainers are flexible with steel on the toe.

You wouldn’t know they were different
My eldest daughter works in a nightclub. Her uniform is all black, as well as black trainer shoes. Every weekend her feet were bleeding and sore, her toenails are black from people standing on her. So ... these are perfect for the job. I’ve not given my actual final thoughts yet, as they are for giving to my daughter. However, my first impression is that these shoes just look like trainer shoes which is fabulous. Long gone are the days that safety shoes were huge, heavy and very clunky. The ties are solid on these trainers and they appear well made. I will report back when my 17 year old has given a full work out for them, I just wanted everyone to know that these shoes looked good.** edited to add that these shoes are going good, my daughter’s toe are healing and she loves not having them trampled on and bruised every week at work. **

More for indoor safety than for use on a building site.....
My safety trainers arrived without a box and in a zip lock plastic bag.The main part of the shoe seems to be made from a mesh that has been bonded to a more dense lining material, and only the heel section is made from some kind of synthetic leather. The inner sole is slightly padded and comfortable underfoot. The 'Kevlar' midsole should afford protection against punctures, and the rubber sole is flexible and quiet on hard surfaces. It has more of a textured tread than rugged ridges, and I would definitely class them as indoor safety shoes rather than outdoor trekking or work boots. The steel toecap is generously sized and not at all obvious. Overall, they increase your height by about one and a quarter inches. The 'tongue' is elasticated and integrated in such a way that they are more akin to slip-on shoes, and they could be used without even tying the laces. The thick woven laces are threaded through exterior loops which makes them very comfortable as there are no real pressure points.I find these shoes to be quite stylish and comfortable to wear for long periods and my feet don't seem to overheat or sweat. They are also much lighter than others I have had in the past. Learning from previous experience, I ordered a larger size than I normally would purchased and am happy to say that they fitted perfectly.

Very strong shoes
At first I wasn't sure how robust these shoes were going to be as they look like a x-training shoe. I wore these shoes this morning to prepare a concrete base for my garden wall. My concerns were immediately alleviated. These are very strong shoes with lots of protection. The sole is very strong for digging and the steel toe caps are like a fortress for your toes. All in all, excellent work shoes.

Better than expected
I bought these for my son who is a landscape gardener. I didn’t really expect him to wear them until the spring or summer but the dog chewed the laces on his winter boots so he had to wear these! They have stood up really well in the soggy wet weather we’ve had, they’re lightweight boots so I expected them to be rubbish in the quagmire but they’re really good. He says they’re comfortable to wear all day. I don’t know how long. They will last but they’re certainly doing the job right now

Strong lightweight shoes with steel caps.
These are comfortable shoes with soft upper fabric and steel toe caps. The Black #6 I purchased have a smart appearance and look good with trousers, without looking like you are wearing trainers.

Great light safety trainers
After wearing these in they are a lot more comfortable than my very heavy previous pair. They are light, breathable with a good non slip base and a steel toe cap.One issue if one is worried about side impacts is there is no side protection so bear this in mind.Im okay as the risk for me is from above not the side.
