Very stylish and practical USB C with many uses.
I’m very happy with the adapter that come with 3 USB ports, SD and Micro card reader, plus 1 HDMI port that can implement multi-task for me.I have few different devices to connect to the computer, but very struggle with the apple adapter that coming with one USD port only, which means I cannot connect any device while the USB mouse is connected. This adapter gives me more port to connect different devices at the same time, with mouse, smart watch and SD cards……Quality of the adapter is excellent, it has got solid metal looking, make it looks more expansive than the price.Best Buy !!!

Cheap, good and everything works. (a2141 macbook)
Perfect fit for MacBook pro 16 (a2141). Fast shipping, very good price, and a lot of ports. Compact and same color like the laptop. Plug and play. It couldn't fit with the protective case, but it was not supposed to do that.

Fitted without any problems into my brand new MacBook Pro and is working fine. The silver colour matches perfectly. Really pleased

HDMI output stopped working at 4K
The idea is good given the limited types of output from the MacBook Pro. Particularly useful when there are multiple ports needed and a rats nest of individual adapters is unfeasible or unwelcome. There is an issue with the device hanging out on any laptop riser or stand - few stands are wide enough to accommodate it and the USBC ports don't support the weight. My device worked OK at the start but soon lost the ability to deliver a 4K signal on the HDMI port - this is a huge downgrade and makes it unusable for me.

Inadequate Power Output on USB Ports
On my new MacBook Pro 16", the three USB ports transfer data, but power output is poor. Using only one USB port (no other peripherals connected to the adapter) it will: slowly recharge my iPhone SE; will NOT charge my iPad Pro; will NOT operate my Apple Superdrive. All other ports appear to operate adequately. From online comments, this appears to be a common problem with third party multiple adapters. To be sure of using my Superdrive I have reluctantly decided to buy the official Apple Thunderbolt 3 to USB adapter, rather than trial-and-error searching for alternatives. I had hoped to cover everything with just the one adapter but this seems to be hard to achieve. The build quality and finish of this device are good; it seems sturdily made and plugs in to the computer firmly in a tight, accurate fit. Good value at this price but it's a pity about those USB ports.

Intriguing design but take care over power requirements and positioning
This product seemed tailor made as I wanted something that could easily connect my MacBook Pro to my NAS via Ethernet, and also cater for a couple of USB accessories such as external HD. Its space gray design looks good and it also has a SD card slot which is a plus. But in fact it didn't work as well as I hoped - plug too much in at one go and your devices wont get enough power each, and it gets hot - but that is the same with any of these things. As a result the USB HDs keep dropping out and other USB devices dont always work. II also found that when the hub was attached, my wifi signal was much reduced or non-existant - must be a problem with how closely it attaches on the left of the computer. I swopped it to the RHS (so it was the wrong way up) and the wifi problem disappeared. It wasn't the location of the router as I moved that around. And finally - whilst it seems to be a good idea to use the two USB-C slots on one side, the position of how the ethernet cable connects means that any tension on it causes a leverage which risks disconnecting the hub. Overall, an interesting design but perhaps a bit too ambitious for what should be a simple hub, and it needs a bit more thought.

Works great
Same thickness/height as macbook, looks the same colour (although I am colourblind so don't quote me on that), the only downside is the USB slots are upsidedown, so if you have one of the funky USB keys from SanDisk with a curved handle, it might not go in without pushing up the desk. I've got an antenna, the connector swivels, but only in the right direction when the USB is upright, so that doesn't work with this.I've had others, and they always seemed to get hot. This one runs cool.
