::::Independent, verified review.:::I ordered this for my Spongebob-crazy 3-year-old figuring that the plastic would be cheap and flimsy. I'd seen it on another website for twice the price so thought I'd give it a shot since Amazon's customer service is incredible. SO happy I did.Here's the good:• THICK material. Think of your typical blow-up ball pit or beach ball and multiply x10.• Excellent seams. My son was bouncing on it as I was trying to blow it up (more on that later) and by all rights, one of them should've given out.• Separate inflatable compartments reduce stress from impacts...like the aforementioned bouncy child.• In the 24 hours since it arrived, it has been kicked, jumped on by people ranging in weight from 28lbs. to 130lbs, and it's still as inflated as it was when I blew it up. It was also used as Soingebob's "boat" all over our concrete, wood, and carpeted floors without incident.• Great colors! Bold and defined, with cute little details like a personalized license plate and Patrick on the rear bumper.• Comes with patch kit!• Does hold iPad 2 and iPad Air - after you have to wrestle them out of their protective cases.• The iPad holder is relatively handy, but see below for why I didn't give it 5 stars.The bad:• Steering wheel does not lock into place easily at all (the tilt adjustment) and I darn near bruised my hand trying to crank it down.• Little tab that holds the wheel onto the car body is very flimsy and unreliable.• The tab that's supposed to securely hold iPad in place is also unreliable and drops easily.• If you, like me, have already covered iPad in a case, you'll have to extract it. Pain in the butt.• Pump is pretty much useless. Nice they include one, but it will take you an hour to do it with that dinky little thing. It took me about ten minutes after a feeble attempt with the included pump, then resorting to old-fashioned blowing, then remembering my air mattress pump!After reading some other reviews there are some things that need to be addressed:* A poor rating because you couldn't "find" the app? The description and video clearly state that they're referencing all motion-sensitive driving games on the Apple App Store. I found tons of them. "Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants Inflatable Sports Car for iPad by CTA Digital" doesn't indicate they created an app for this car.* The reviews stating the car was torn are a little hard to believe, but since time was taken to write them I'd have to say these are few and far between manufacturer defects. I wouldn't get put off buying it if I were you.I highly recommend this little car. It's a great wind-down toy or a fun way to burn off some crazy kid energy! Hopefully this was helpful to you in making your decision to buy.I actually do update my posts, and will do so after we've had it a month or it breaks. :-)

This is for someone up to about 6 years old. I purchased this for my son who was turning 8 who is rather on the small side. What was I thinking? At first he sat on it and loved it and it held his iPad for him as described. But then he and his friends got this bright idea to drive down the stairs on it and now it has a hole in it :(Boys will be boys.This is a really nice gift for anyone who wants a way for their child to sit comfortably hands free and easy to blow up. I do recommend it especially if you dont have a rough and tumble group of boys like mine.

2 1/2 year old loved it. Steering wheel works fine for pretend driving. Foot pump doesnt work well to inflate, so dont count on that as only method for inflation. 2 1/2 year old loved to play gas station with the foot pump, so I was glad it was included anyway. I dont have an IPad for him, but the tablet I do let him play with fits just fine, and stayed put after I added a little velcro on the back.The car is for here at Na Na 's house, and when he comes , before hello, I hear "wheres my car, I cant see it" Thats a good review in my book!

I ordered a total of 3 of these cars (TMNT / Dora / Spongebob) for my 3 yr old son and nephew and my 1 1/2 year old daughter. They all love them very much. We have yet to use them for the IPads but they love watching TV in them and for just lounging or play. These cars have been ALL OVER my home! I love that they are light enough for the kids to move them around, yet sturdy enough to withstand the weight of older family members. I hope these last for a long time!

I bought this prior to heading out to Nickelodeon Punta Cana. I wanted to have a few toys for my son to open there instead of paying triple in the gift shops. My son loves this car, but the box was too heavy to pack. Nonetheless it's getting plenty of use regardless.
