Reduces quality of picture
This product did convert the SDI to HDMI but the quality of the picture is negatively affected. The image is jittery and resolution is reduced. Swapped out with a different brand and image immediately cleared up.

Mostly great, but sometimes they die
I have about a dozen on these for running a CCTV feed for the arts center I run, with TVs backstage and in the lobby. They do a great job of converting the signal, don't fuss about resolutions and refresh rates, and pretty much just get the job done.I have had 3 or 4 die on me over the years, which is a little frustrating - but at this price, and the fact that ours run 24/7/365, I can't complain too much.When they die, they just stop outputting despite a solid "lock" light.
