I had lots of compliments on this dress. On the color style and etc.. The dress is elegant and comfortable. I wore it to our Granddaughters wedding. I ordered a 16 and it fit perfect. I was extremely pleased.

This is a beautiful dress! Purchases for a 50th Anniversary vow renewal ceremony. The bottom is far too formal for the fabric they used for the top. I don't know what else they could have used, silk, crepe? This feels and looks more like the stretchy swimsuit fabric of days of yore. The bottom is gorgeous! I wish two things: the length were more of a midi than tea, and the sleeves were 3/4 not whatever they are. Somewhere between short and 3/4. Hit right at the crease of my elbow. I don't like showing my arms. I expected sleeves to come lower as, even in petites, they normally fit me a bit on the bigger side. I'd order from this company again, but I'd pay careful attention to all the little details. Wish more companies offered petite sizes in formal wear. I love that Alex Evenings does that!If you don't care about the fabric, you will probably love this one. 12P fit me almost perfectly, except for the sleeves being too short, and the top wasn't quite right in fit, either. Can't put my finger on it. Just didn't look or feel right. But do give it a try. You can always return it as I've done. Love that about ordering from Amazon!

I like the color and that the dress fits me. I have tried soo many dresses and have had to return because of how they fit me. This is not the dress of my dreams but I need one asap and am happy with style, fit and quality. It is hand wash. I hand washed the bodice and layer it out to dry. Looks good. Sorry to report we can’t make dresses in USA. Made in china.

I loved the beautiful blue skirt with the rosette details. The flow of the skirt was nice and I wish I could cut off the top and keep it as a skirt. The waist as others mentioned is high and I wish the top were longer as the dress made me look like I was short waisted and out of proportion. If I decide to keep it, I will have to pin the top as it is low as others have mentioned. The dress is heavy with the design of the skirt and thick fabric on top. For me the skirt was full and the top was snug. I think the dress would work well for a black tie optional or a black tie wedding. The top gives it a more casual feel, but the skirt is elegant.

I need dress for wedding wanted to look good but be comfortable Top is a good quality knit and attached skirt hit perfect enough below my bust line and perfect at just above my waistline V neck not to low I am 65 wanted to look classic but Not Old and frumphy added a Red 21/2 inch Red Calvin Heel and Jewlery Told by my Nieces and Nephews I Rocked! Im size 14/16 40DD and a 12 pant 5ft2inch height. This dress skirt loose will work for many shapes Apple or Pair and the Vneck good for bust size The skirt is small ribbon Rosettes with few sequen sprinkled thru . Not heavy Dress by ALEX Evenings well worth it.

I am 5'4" and about 140lbs. I ordered an 8 petite, which was far too small, which was confusing since I typically wear an 8 petite in this brand. The fabric on the top of the dress is too casual for the fabric which the skirt is made of and I cannot figure out what type of occasion would be appropriate for this dress (some parts being too casual and other parts being more formal). The skirt itself is also very heavy.

I was hesitant to buy an important dress like this from Amazon but I did my research on the product line and was really surprised at the quality. It’s beautiful and fits perfectly although the length is long for tea length but I’m keeping it because it’s gorgeous

This dress is beautiful and fits well. Unfortunately it had a major sewing error. A quite large part of the skirt had been caught in one of the seams. I needed the dress right away and did not have time to return it. Luckily I sew and had the skills and materials to make the needed repair. I am upset at the quality control that let such a noticeable mistake go to market. I did not expect I would need to fix a premium dress.

This is a beautiful dress that I purchased for a friend’s wedding. I bought a seamless crop tube top in black for the top of the dress since I didn’t want too much showing! It was perfect. I got a lot of compliments on this dress.
