I tried two or three magnetic door stops (none of them any good) before coming across this. Not only is the magnet really strong, the best part about this is the spring action. It means you can "fling" (i.e not have to hold it all the way until it catches) the door open and it will catch the magnet perfectly in a nice soft motion. If it didn't have this spring, the door would bounce off the magnet and come back.Can't recommend highly enough.

The actual catch is very good, but the screws supplied were of poor quality and strength. Tried to screw into MDF skirting board and first screw head sheared off. Tried again with drilled pilot holes and the third screw failed with the head shearing off. In the end, replaced all screws with my own decent wood screws with no problem. Apart from that, I’m very happy with the product and it works well, just use your own screws on sturdy surfaces.

All the screws provided broke during installation (heads snapped off) Would recommend using other screws. Otherwise exactly what I was looking for, and once installed works well.

Very nicely made. Only issue is that the magnet is too powerful, but easily over come with a little double sided foam tape to reduce the contact.Great product and a ‘positive’ ‘negative’ comment.

Doe what you expect with strong magnet.Do not use the screws supplied the heads sheer off. Surely they can supply decent screws?

Great product. Easy to install and works like a charm. No more banging doors due to the wind blowing it open or shut.

Difficult to install. Once in place its quite sturdy.

The circular part needs unscrewing and took me a while to work this out ! Once I did , it was easy to install and very sturdy.
