For a Carrera Vulcan MTB - I spent ages looking at riser handlebars,after turning my handlebars to get as much height as I could. What was on offer at Halfords for stem raising where I bought the bike didn't help, neither did the staff suggest such a simple solution, only suggesting how difficult it might be with cable lengths etc..I even bought new handlebars which hardly gave any raise at all. Then I saw this product and couldn't believe how stupid I'd been! Fitted this in under 10 minutes and got an immediate 2" lift; no problem with cables; job done. Instant relief to lower backache.

Simple but so effective , my bike does have a stem that I can adjust up so the only way is to use one of these to raise my handlebars up to relieve the numbness I get in my palms while riding I fitted this today and noticed an immediate relief in my hands while I was on the road

My wife has neck problems and was starting to find riding her hybrid bike uncomfortable due to the leant forward position. This stem extender combined with medium rise handlebars now means she is in an upright position and has no problems. This part fits a 1 1/8" steerer tube (very common size) so check your bike first. Only suitable for bikes with threadless headsets, so if you have a threaded headset you will want a longer quill stem instead. You will only need a hex key to fit but make sure you understand how to get the star nut bolt tension correct before you begin. YouTube videos on threadless headsets should help with this.Decent quality part, looks good.

if you want to ride more upright this is the thing for you,i found it easy to fit,but you have to know how to set your steering up,other wise leave the set up to someone that knows

I was getting a bit of lower-back pain whilst riding, so I tried this, and it works. I'm no longer getting pain as I'm sitting more upright. It's quite amazing how much difference a few cm's make. Quality seems fine and you can adjust the height by adding or removing the spacer rings as desired.

Did for my E-bike, strong and feels okey. Not easy to install just because of front brakes. Make sure that maybe needs to change cable. The screws could be better quality and bigger, they are very cheap, and very bad material. But another everything looks strong and fine. Made test on high speed, I'll go keep and look how it works on future
