For people with knee issues ... sitting down in a chair is usually not a problem. However, standing up is a whole different ball of wax! Trying to get out of the chair is not only uncomfortable (maybe even painful) & many times embarrassing, but it can also cause more injury to the person.This chair solves the "standing up" issue.I purchased this for a friend that is over 6 feet tall & is getting ready to have both knees replaced. I am so happy to see him be able to stand up on the first try without any problem. I am 5'3" and can comfortably sit in this chair also.Now he has a great chair to use in the garage, backyard or even inside his house.It is light, easy to move around, aesthetically pleasing, and has a nice tray with a cup holder plus the side pockets.It took a good, solid push on the seat to get it set up. Looks like it might take a bit of force to fold up. Neither he nor I have tried to fold it up. The chair is very sturdy and quite comfortable.I am truly impressed. Best of all, I ordered it from the Amazon Warehouse & saved about $20.00. It took about a week to arrive, but the savings made it worth the wait.This is a great product!Update: 2023 Jul 16These chairs are so wonderful that I have purchased 2 more. Now my friend keeps one in the backyard, one in the garage & another in the family room. These chairs are very sturdy and just perfect. When his sons visit, the chairs are hauled around from the yard to the garage, then the family room and all around again & again. And ... they still look like new!

I bought this for my husband. He has problems with his knees, this chair makes it easy to get in and out of the chair.I got one for myself so we would be at the same level (it is higher than a regular chair) I love the foot rest since I am not as tall as my husband. It is stable and well made. I love the tray and the pouches on each side.

Sturdy chair for someone that needs good support. The chair is made extremely well with strong fabric to withstand many years of wear. The frame of the chair is made of alloy steel & constructed to hold an adult of good size. On the front lower part of the chair there is a rail to rest your feet. This takes a bit to get used to, but works well.My husband was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s & the chair allowed him to feel comfortable & stable getting up & out of the chair with little assistance. We used the chair on our most recent fishing trip. The chair takes a bit of strength to open & close until it is broken in. I would buy this chair again & would highly recommend. I put straps on the chair to help carry & belt with a clip to hold it closed when transporting. The chair is worth the price I paid & a good value for my money.

Super nice and comfortable. If you have any hip/back pain this is nice when you have to stand back up. Not to heavy andI like the little fold out table. Super useful

A taller tailgate or camp chair. I've on sat in it on my driveway, but feels sturdy for a larger person, 6'3", 250+.However, the seat depth of the chair is too small, not deep enough to allow for sitting over 10 minutes, for a larger person.

It’s Perfect. I have bad knees and this chair is just the right height . Its very durable. No struggle standing up, its light weight so I can carry it to the kids ballgames. It stores well in the car.

Love this chair, I'm 5'9 and it's prefect for me to get out of. I'm also disabled and it doesn't sit to low to the grown where I plop down. It's sturdy the back has nice support for my bad back. I like it has a table and the other side to store stuff. I can't wait to use it for camping to see how it really holds up and fingers crossed it will help limit back pain.
