Newsight DIY Oil Painting Paintworks Paint by Number for Kids and Adults (16" x 20"Dream Venice)

Opened this product today to start painting. In general, I'm pleased with the numbering and the lines themselves however there are 2 big issues here that would make me never purchased this again. The 1st issue is that the canvas arrives folded tightly into squares and stuffed in a Box so that it really takes a lot of work and prep to get the creases out with an iron. And 2nd the acrylic set of paints are completely dried out. I have dropped little bits of water in all 24 little buckets to sit overnight. Yes you can add water to acrylics to make them less thick but these are so dried out that they're clumpy. It's like trying to paint with oatmeal. I'm seriously thinking of just getting a set of acrylics to replace the ones that came with this kit. Not a good deal for the money. Highly recommend you do not buy this product.

I liked the design of this painting which is the main reason for my purchase. However, the numbers for smaller areas were super hard to read. Even with a magnifying glass, I couldn’t make out some numbers (see photos). The reference photo is too small to refer to. Additionally, this product arrives as a folded up piece of canvas. You need to iron out the creases and stretch it over a frame or treat it in some way before you hang it up for display. Sadly, I won’t be purchasing Newsight products again.

Bought this after i completed another paint by number (Greece- beginners should try that one first bc this one was more challenging). I wish the numbers were printed on darker because they either came off or just weren’t printed on clearly originally. There were also really thin lines that had illegible numbers printed on it. The paper (not actual canvas) with the numbers printed on it was also not printed well so all i could reference was the small colored picture of what the finished product should look like but that also didn't help because of its small size.

The canvas is good quality and the shipping was good. It came in a box and in an Amazon envelope which I appreciate. I wish more sellers would roll the canvas in a box to avoid the fold marks. Love the Greece and Italy pictures, they paint well.

I'm not a beginner. I just wanted to try a paint by number. My granddaughter thought it was so beautiful, she insisted we trade our pictures for Christmas as she did one too. It was easy to read and fun to do.

Many of the paints are thick and hard to work with. Quality of numbering very poor. Do not purchase from this vendor.

Less than a week after I started my painting, all of the paint dried out! When I tried adding water, the paint became too thin and you could see the numbers through the paint. Terrible quality.

Daughter loves art and this was perfect for her art studio!
