I bought 4 pack and was so impressed. Not only are they energy saving, but they light up immediately and don't have that horrible annoying light that the standard energy saving bulbs have.Brighter than expected, great product to have in all four bedrooms.I found it really difficult to find a product of white light specs as this one. I'm so pleased and I know it'sAbsolutely fantastic!Helps with my eyesight so much now then before.Only small concern I had was 3 of 4 bulbs I purchasedLight up immediately. 1 bulb I Felt something rattling inside the bulb. I emailed my concern regards to this particular bulb.I received a reply within a couple of hours with a replacement bulb on its way.Less than a few days, my bulb arrived & to my surprise there was a generous kind gift with my bulb.A portable reading light!Which has come quite useful! I can't comment on the lifespan of this bulb, because it has been running for hours, literally, but these are my first impressions:It is extremely white and brighter than other LED or "energy saving" bulbs I have, although none of them have a 16 W rating. I have in the same room a warm white LED, which I thought it was fairly white, but looks like pale yellow in comparison. My wife thinks it looks like daylight and she loves it, but to me it looks more like the typical white fluorescent white you get in a kitchen. However, if you take a picture where you can't see the bulb, it really looks quite close to daylight, as opposed to the yellow light of other bulbs, but when you can see the glow of the bulb directly, the effect is not so impressive. It is heavier and a bit larger than a typical bulb, but it feels very sturdy.

A quality LED bulb that provides an instant and strong light particularly good for work areas in the house. The bulb itself feels well made and fitted the light fitting without issue. I have attached a photograph of our utility room which happens to be in a basement with no natural light. The light is bright, room filling and allows me to perform tasks like ironing with less eye strain and slightly less sufference! The bulb comes with a good guarantee and the promise of many thousands of hours of operation. It is too early early to comment on this but I am so far very pleased and will buy more of this brand as our existing non-LED low energy bulbs go pop.

Bought to use in the ceiling rose in the living room of my 90 year old mother who has reduced vision. This bulb is actually too bright, probably because 1) the light only shines in a downward direction (Beam Angle:130°) rather than all directions of older types of bulbs, and 2) My mothers living room is not very big. The light produced by this bulb does make it appear to be more that the 100W claimed equivalence though.I fitted a different bulb for my mother and will use this one when the need for a very very bight light is arises. It is after all a very good light bulb.The delivery was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending the supplier, or the product, if you want a very bright light.

A good quality bright bulb, I have several LED bulbs around the house and not yet had to replace one, they outlive standard bulbs whilst offering higher brightness for less overall power use and don't have a lengthy "warmup" period until they can output there advertised brightness, definitely worth switching to LED bulbs and the Auraglow are a good option.

These are bright!Warning! Don't buy these for your bedroom like I did as they will dazzle you as you lie in bed as looking directly at the bulb is like looking at the sun.Just don't do it folks.But on a serious note. I've had them a few months now, and whilst I love the fact they turn on at full power (not the usual slow burn in to full brightness the other energy saving style bulbs do) - they have dimmed slightly.Probably not ideal for a bedroom but they are good quality. Better than Panasonic ones i bought but I will rate them both as a 4*. I do love the fact they look like a standard incandescent bulb.

I can’t fault it for doing what it says on the tin.Really, really bright. Nice colour. Fills the room with light.I’d bought it because the hue light I had was pretty useless and depressingly dim.It was difficult to see a notebook screen to do some work.This light floods the room with light and solves the problem.It’s like being in an operating theatre though.It’s giving me headaches.No good for a lounge so think wisely about where you’ll put it.

Originally ordered one of these bulbs for my elderly Mother whose failing eyesight required a stronger light for reading. I was so impressed that I ordered two more for myself, I put one as the light in my loft and the other I use in a lamp on a timer switch if I go away. The light that these bulbs give off is brilliant, literally, like real daylight. Very pleased.
