Flexible and Convenient
It will isolate and protect the area. It is more flexible than traditional bandages in my experience. It states that it is "Breathable" which in my personal experience seems to help with healing. You must change the dressing as recommended by a Health Care Professional. Do not just put this on a wound and leave it. The adhesive can and will cause irritation and can actually remove skin if you are to aggressive in removing it. MAKE SURE THE AFFECTED AREA IS COVERED BY SOMETHING OTHER THAN THIS BANDAGE !!!! Gauze, Triple-Antibiotic, something!!! It can and will stick to your wound, healing skin, scabs etc. and it WILL remove them if you are not careful when you remove the bandage! The adhesive works very well but will not stick to Triple-Antibiotic which is what I used. It is more comfortable and flexible than a traditional bandage and best of all, it is barely noticeable to anyone else. I used it on my arm at the elbow and it does flex very well and will usually stay on in the shower. Again, I cannot stress enough that you must change the bandage on a regular basis as directed by a Health Care Professional. Just putting this on an open wound and leaving it WILL lead to infection, just like any other bandage.

My go to for waterproofing surgery site.
When I knew I was getting a total knee replacement on September 15 2021, I started looking for Tegaderm so I could shower without getting my incision wet.Ten days no shower was not going to happen for me!I also purchased sterile gauze.I've been able to shower daily when I feel up to it, keeping my incision site clean and dry so no infection etc.It can be a bit tricky to peel but once you figure it out, it's a breeze.Stays in place nicely, keeps anything underneath totally dry.As long as you don't leave it on too long it's very easy to remove with no residue.Im stocking up now for my next surgery.4" x 11 yards is enough to cover a 3.5" x10" insision site since September 18 2021 to keep the original dressing dry.Extremely cost effective purchased this way.Excellent transaction, delivered ahead of schedule, no issues at all.

difficult to figure out how to apply
This tape stays on great, The large width and cutting a roll to get the ideal length is a great benefit. it is very comfortable and hardly noticeable. I bought it to cover a band aid or gauze pad on my heel. It was easy to size, but very difficult to figure out how to peel the backing properly to put it on. My wife is pretty handy with things but after applying it two times so far, she still doesn't know what she did. THIS PRODUCT NEEDS A VIDEO SHOWING THE PROPER STEPS TO REMOVING THE BACKING AND WHITE STRIP. The pictures and application procedure she did find were difficult to follow. Maybe after bungling along a few more times she will be able to provide some useful instructions.

What I've Been Looking For in a Sheet Bandage
this stuff is great. I have been looking for a bandage material that comes in sheets that works well. I had a pretty deep and wide cut on the meaty part of the palm below the thumb. I was able to keep this on for long periods of time and use the material to pull in closed. All this while being very active. It's also cheap. Takes some fiddling to learn to apply it, but best thing I've found so far for large improvized bandages in bendy, awkward areas.

Waterproof
This product is great, it will waterproof a gauze covered wound. I used it to cover my wifes incision from her back surgery. It is marked and rolls off to the length you need. Not real wide so in some cases might need to overlap too pieces. Only con I have is it was difficult to figure out how to use till I realized the key was to leave the plastic side on till you have applied the adhesive side and on the adhesive side there is a small strip you leave on when you peel off the back so you can handle your bandage till you get it in place then carefully peel it off while smoothing the adhesive down completely. Once you have it applied carefully peel the plastic up applying pressure as you do to the bandage.

Ok, but not very good
It stuck well and helped keep things in place but gave my skin a bad allergic reaction. Not fully blaming it on the product, but make sure to look to see if you’re allergic to any of the chemicals in the adhesive 👍🏻

Absolute Garbage!
Stay away from this one. After two days of usage, I developed a terrible rash from this product. I applied it onto a clean area with Aquaphor covering the tattoo. The area was cleaned every four hours, and a new bandage was applied. On the second day I developed a rash from this crap. Shortly after, my wife developed a rash too. The possibility of both of us developing the same type of rash after using this product is more than just a coincidence. The picture shows the rash three days after I stopped using it. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your tegaderm. Go with a well known company and pay a little extra. It will be worth it. I sure as hell wish I did.
