I've had this for about a year now and it's broke. The touchscreen isn't really sensitive and may require some pressure to work. It also needs to be calibrated about once a month. if it gets to off it can be a pain to click the calibration button. Another problem is it can be hard to upload videos. It took me a while to figure it out and I'm pretty good with technology. It's battery life is good. It lasted quite a few hours. It can hold about a thousand songs.Pros- Decent battery- Can hold about a thousand songsCons- Not sensitive- Hard to upload videos- Needs to be calibrated often- Mine broke in about a year

I purchased my MP3 player from another site, not through Amazon, and it cost a bit more than the price listed here. I bought this MP3 player for my daughter. Had I known she had not been using it because of the problems she encountered, I would have returned it within the 30-day return period. My daughter did not like the MP3 player because it was very slow, most times it wouldn't play the music, it would not show her SD card... I didn't want to feel like I wasted my money, so I decided I would use it. I really have to say I do not like this MP3 player. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get the 1st song to play because the touch screen response is horrible. Most times the player does not respond to touch although I have re-calibrated it several times. I have been unable to access the SD card because most times the player does not respond to touch and freezes. I try to access the internal memory which results in the same problem. Although there is a back button and menu button at bottom of screen, it doesn't respond to touch, which makes searching for another song to play impossible without turning the player off, then on again, just to go through another 10 minutes of trying to make a song play. Also, the player does not show the album art. I usually keep away from GPX products because I have never had success with them and they either don't work or break quickly. GPX products usually don't have all of the features that even some cheaper MP3 players have. I took a chance on purchasing this MP3 player and I can say I am very disappointed and would never recommend this MP3 player nor any other GPX product to anyone.

My wife bought me this model as my first mp3. The sound was good, and it was easy to download songs onto it. However, almost exactly one month later, it is not working right. The player freezes when you attach the USB wire to it, and it will not let me download anything. Also, when you are playing a recording now - the wrong name comes up on the screen. Also the touch screen is almost impossible to work especially the volume and the volume always goes back to the top setting.I contacted the company because I wanted to get this to work, because I liked the overall sound anf set up, but they do not have a workable phone number, and they never returned my email back. My wife is taking this back, and I just ordered the SanDisk Sansa Clip model. Hopefully I will have better luck with that one.I would not buy a GPX product again.
