WEARKAPER Transition Sun Photochromic Progressive Reading Glasses Multifocal Eyeglasses (2.25X, Grey)

Outside of having to see my ophthalmologist for a multi-focal “transition” lens, these glasses WEARKAPER Transition Sun Photochromic Progressive Reading Glasses Multifocal Eyeglasses (2.50X, Grey) were the only other option I found, and at a very reasonable price. They are nicely light weight and darken in bright light, although not as dark as my regular sunglasses. The reading (bottom) part of the lens is a circle, rather than spanning the bottom of the lens (see markings in pictures). This works, requiring some head movement, rather than eye movement, when reading.The glasses come with demarcation lines to show the areas of the lenses. I scratched one of the lenses by removing the lines with a knife on the first pair I bought. The vendor promptly dealt with my inquiry, and discounted the price. I bought a second pair and followed the directions explicitly in removing the lines, taking about a half hour to do so.

The retaining wire came loose after about 6 or 7 uses

Worth the price, great for reading without paying the prescription price.
