Q: These shoes say 100% leather. But then further down the description it says synthetic leather upper for durability. So are these real leather or not?

These are NOT REAL leather. They say 50% PU leather & 50% synthetic. In other words it’s all synthetic. PU leather, is not going to be as durable as real leather, but it will be more durable compared to bonded leather. PU leather isn't breathable and it can easily puncture and crack over time. PU leather can be resistant to stains and is fade resistant, unlike bonded leather.

Q: Would this shoe be comfortable for someone that normally wears a wide shoe?

For me, these shoes were shockingly wide. I have been a size 7 in nearly every brand for the last 20 years. I had to return these for a size 6 because I felt like my feet were swimming in a lake. Admittedly, I do like a snug fit, but this was just crazy.

Q: Does the dark sole leave marks?

My pair has white soles. The only black on mine are the side stripes and the Adidas logo on the back of the heel. I love mine! Super comfortable. Leaves no marks.
